Guest
Can I bake RustSeal to speed up the cure time? I would like to put it in the booth and bake it. Quote Link to comment https://success.kbs-coatings.com/topic/7309-bake-rustseal-to-speed-cure/ Share on other sites
KBS Coatings
RustSeal is a moisture cured urethane (catalyzed by moisture in the air), so dry heat from baking can actually slow the cure of RustSeal. You can speed the cure of RustSeal with air flow and humidity (humidifier, wet towels on the ground, etc.). Always allow RustSeal to cure normally until it it is dry-to-touch and does not leave a fingerprint, and then add the air flow and humidity.
