XTC is a high temperature/heat resistant coating formulated specifically to protect metal surfaces operating at temperatures from 500° F to 1500° F making XTC ideal for smokers and grills. With proper preparation, XTC provides outstanding adhesion, film integrity, weathering, and thermal shock-resistance throughout this entire temperature range and is guaranteed not to burn off! XTC is ideal for exterior applications because it resists rust when primed with XTC Primer. XTC Clear is typically used on smokers over the XTC base color to provide the gloss that many desire for their smoker.

“I work for a company called Industrial Emergency Counsel. We have a aircraft simulator to train airport firefighters. Recently I use the XTC Rocket Red paint and it’s holding up very well! Please see the pictures. Words cannot explain what your paint is holding up to. I think we could use this prop as a commercial showing how well your XTC holds up to the most extreme conditions!” -Rich from Sacramento, CA XTC is a high temperature/heat resistant coating formulated specifically to protect metal surfaces operating at temperatures from 500°F (260°C) to 1500°F (812°C). XTC On A Grill
KBS Coatings posted a topic in Customer Photos, Videos, Feedback, and Success Stories
“Glass bead blasted the entire surface. Two thin coats of XTC Zinc Primer 24 hrs. apart. Then Two coats of XTC Stainless Steel paint 24 hrs. apart. I then used some Black for the handle, Red for the vents and Flame Blue for the trim & drawers. I'm tickled with the end product and look forward to many many years of maintenance free service. Used a Wagner Power Sprayer & it worked great.” -Steve S XTC Primer | XTC -
I put 2 coats of XTC primer and then 2 coats of XTC high temp paint (stainless steel) on my longtube headers. I recently seen that I need to bake them for 30 minutes to cure? Is that true, or do i not necessarily need to do that?

If I Remove My Exhaust From My Yamaha Stryker And Coat It With XTC. Wait For It To Dry. Then Attach It Once Again To The Motorcycle. Will The Temp Of The Pipes At Idle Be Enough To Cure The Coating ???

I'm looking to repaint a Ceramic Grill. Similar to a Big Green Egg, except the Grill Dome is painted instead of Glazed like a big green egg. Will this paint stick to ceramic?

coated manifolds a few years ago with your high temp. still looks good. i have manifolds off so i would like to dress them up. no chips cracks or peels. how should i prep them for a new coat of your high temp paint, XTC?

What I would like to know is does that XTC come in a gloss with same ratings in temp. And also can XTC be used on the inside of the smoker area and warming box area where food will be cooked?

“We purchased two spray cans of XTC high temp primer and two cans of XTC high temp black paint. We removed our mufflers / exhaust from our car, prepped the areas to be painted and followed the instructions on the can. All we can say is we are VERY impressed with the before and after results. We highly recommend the XTC line for those who are considering a similar project!”-Officer Martinez from Fort Worth, TX
