November 2, 201510 yr comment_3364 coated manifolds a few years ago with your high temp. still looks good. i have manifolds off so i would like to dress them up. no chips cracks or peels. how should i prep them for a new coat of your high temp paint, XTC? November 2, 201510 yr comment_3365 Yes, you can absolutely coat over cured XTC with another coat of XTC. Clean the surface with KBS Klean, scuff with 320 grit (green pad) and then apply another coat or 2 or XTC. After that has cured 8 hours, do the temperature cure and you are all set.
