And also can XTC be used on the inside of the smoker area and warming box area where food will be cooked? October 22, 201510 yr comment_3345 XTC (like all other extreme temperature coatings) are more of a satin finish versus a gloss finish and this is due to the nature of the resins that must be used for extreme temperature coatings. You can also use Motor Coater on parts of the smoker that do not get above 450 degrees. Motor Coater comes in plenty of gloss colors. The XTC can be used on all areas of the smoker that do not come in direct contact with food. Coating smokers with XTC is a very common application for our XTC paint.
