February 18, 200818 yr comment_1590 Hello. I'm in Cairns and this is the tropics. I'm doing the underside of my Valiant and I'm aware of what you said about rust seal and humidity, however I have a timeline and need to get into the wheel wells, underneath, boot and engine bay. My question, how do I apply it given the humidy up here to get the best results ? Also, do you have a oil based produst like SW2 for all the hard to get at box sections? If so how do you apply it? February 18, 200818 yr Author comment_1591 Apply in the morning where possible, and thin the RustSeal up to 20% (10% is normally best) by reducing the solids you reduce the coatings ability to gas under high humidity conditions. In other words, apply more thin coats instead of two heavy coats. Maybe apply 3 thin coats.
