January 24, 200818 yr comment_1548 I have a gas tank that is delaminating at the outer flange on one side, the tank does not have a gap in the flang, but there is rust in the flang, would the gas tank sealer be the best bet (further seperation of the metal is possible because of the rust, although unlikely. Also, is the NuMetal a good product for sealing the flange from the outside? January 24, 200818 yr Author comment_1549 Remove as much rust as is practical by hand then apply multiple coats (3-5) until the whole area is sealed up. Then apply the sealer to the inside.
