What is the induction time for KBS MAXX and KBS MAXX Clear after I have mixed the KBS MAXX Base and KBS MAXX Activator before I starting applying the paint or the clear coat?

For KBS MAXX and KBS MAXX Clear, there is no induction time which means you can start applying KBS MAXX or KBS MAXX Clear as soon as the Base Component and Activator have been mixed together well. Once the two parts of KBS MAXX or KBS MAXX Clear are mixed together, the paint is now activated and KBS MAXX or KBS MAXX Clear should be applied immediately and within 30 minutes for best results.

 

As far as the mixing process: After the KBS MAXX Base (color) has been mixed well and smooth in consistency, in a mixing cup/container, carefully measure 3 parts mixed up KBS MAXX Base. Add 1 part MAXX Activator. Mix thoroughly. Use of a mechanical mixer (KBS Hurricane Paint Mixer or similar mixing blade attached to variable speed drill) is highly recommended.
