February 10, 20179 yr comment_4012 I need a temperature rating of 400 degrees for an exterior oil pipe. I would like to use Rust Seal for it's durability but I know it needs a top coat. Can I top coat Rust Seal with your XTC high temperature paint? February 10, 20179 yr comment_4013 Because you are specifically looking for durability, BlackTop would be a much better option and BlackTop is good to 500F making it a great choice to go over RustSeal on your exterior oil pipe. Please let us know if that helps and if you have any additional questions.
