I would like to use Rust Seal for it's durability but I know it needs a top coat. Can I top coat Rust Seal with your XTC high temperature paint? KBS Coatings Posted February 10, 2017 Report Share Posted February 10, 2017 Because you are specifically looking for durability, BlackTop would be a much better option and BlackTop is good to 500F making it a great choice to go over RustSeal on your exterior oil pipe.
