December 29, 20169 yr comment_3991 I want to paint my frame with Rust Seal but I have some holes that are about 3"x 3". Can I prep the surface and then put the KBS Patch over these holes in the frame? Is the KBS Patch designed to do this? January 20, 20179 yr comment_3994 Yes. Prep the surface with KBS Klean and RustBlast. Then apply 2 thin, covering coats of RustSeal. Then apply the KBS Patch to the RustSeal 3-6 hours after the second coat of RustSeal to ensure maximum adhesion. Cure the KBS Patch. Then you can paint the KBS Patch with RustSeal.
