September 26, 20169 yr comment_3887 I have the KBS #1 Thinner and a qt of Diamond Finish. I'm only going to use about a quarter of the can but I was wondering if I could go ahead and thin the whole quart and then seal the Diamond Finish? I didn't know if this will effect the Diamond Finish if it sits on the shelf for a couple of months once it's already been thinned. September 26, 20169 yr comment_3888 Yes, you can thin down the whole quart of DiamondFinish Clear with KBS #1 Thinner if you desire. Thinning does not diminsh the pot life of the DiamondFinish Clear.
