September 8, 20169 yr comment_3869 I have an aluminum diesel fuel tank that I want to seal. I see that you have a three step process for this. I get using the Klean and sealer but with an aluminum tank do I need to use the Rust Blast since their isn't any rust. If I still use this can you tell me how long I need to leave it in the tank? September 8, 20169 yr comment_3870 Because aluminum is a slick surface, RustBlast is crucial for etching the aluminum which provides an ideal surface profile so that the Tank Sealer adheres really well. It is important for RustBlast to sit on each side of the tank for a minimum of 30 minutes. Please check out the Tank Sealer Directions and let us know if you have any additional questions.
