Rust Seal and Humidity

Guest

Recommended Posts

RustSeal is cured by a combination of temperature and humidity. You can also speed up the cure (negatively) by overworking the brush when brushing RustSeal.

If it is 80 degrees, it would best to keep it below 80% humidity for optimal brush flow out. You can always help brush marks to flow out by applying thin, covering coats of RustSeal, not overworking the brush, and thinning the RustSeal with KBS #1 Thinner if needed.

Please check out the complete RustSeal Directions and let us know if you have any additional questions.
