August 17, 20169 yr comment_3853 Yes, you can absolutely top coat RustSeal with a latex paint. To do this, allow the RustSeal to fully cure 24 hours, scuff the RustSeal with 300 grit, and then apply the latex paint according to the directions on the latex paint can.
