July 22, 20169 yr comment_3818 Painting a trailer is a very common application. Most people paint it black but you can pick any color you want. If you not sandblasted the sides, here is an overview of what you want to do. 1) Wire Wheel any loose flaky rust and paint. 2) Clean the surface thoroughly (pressure washer is great) with KBS Klean. 3) Etch any bare metal spots with RustBlast. 4) Coat the surface with with at least 2 thin, covering coats of RustSeal. 5) Top coat the RustSeal with BlackTop (if you desire black) or any other solid color UV stable top coat like KBS MAXX.
