July 14, 20169 yr comment_3806 I want to paint my catalytic converter. Can I use XTC on this? If so, do you recommend using the primer as well. What temperature can XTC handle? July 18, 20169 yr comment_3809 Yes, you can use RustSeal or XTC Primer and XTC to paint your catalytic converter. RustSeal is good up to 600F and XTC is good up to 1200F when used with the XTC Primer. Please check out the RustSeal Directions, the XTC Primer Directions, and the XTC Directions and let us know if you have any additional questions.
