June 23, 20169 yr comment_3774 Yes. You can absolutely clear over a powder coated surface. For surface preparation, scuff the surface with 300 grit and then clean the surface with KBS Klean. Allow to dry and then apply a minimum of 2-3 thin, covering coats of DiamondFinish Clear. Please check out the DiamondFinish Clear Directions and let us know if you have any additional questions.
