June 13, 20169 yr comment_3749 I noticed on your Tank Sealer directions it says you can use duct tape or electrical tape to provide a sufficient seal to allow me to rotate, turn and invert the tank without the sealer spilling all over the place. Can I use Duct tape to seal up the hole when I use your KBS Strip so it won't spill all over? June 13, 20169 yr comment_3750 We do not recommend using duct tape when stripping the inside of your tank because the KBS Strip will usually eat through any adhesives on the tape. As always, extra care needs to be taken when using KBS Strip to avoid contact with exterior paint of a tank. KBS Strip is a powerful paint remover and WILL INDEED remove exterior paint on gas tanks. Please review the Tank Sealer Directions which covers stripping the inside of the tank (if needed) and let us know if you have any additional questions.
