May 31, 20169 yr comment_3735 I have some pipes in my basement that need to be coated with a high heat paint. I know this is used a lot outside but I wanted to know if it's safe to be painted in the basement of my house? May 31, 20169 yr comment_3736 Yes. XTC and XTC Primer are completely non-toxic once fully cure by doing the heat cure. However, most pipes in a house do not get above 600F, so RustSeal would be a more durable coating that does not require a heat cure. Please check out the XTC Primer Directions, the XTC Directions and the RustSeal Directions and let us know if you have any additional questions.
