May 16, 201610 yr comment_3700 I have some areas with existing paint and then some bare meta areas. If I prep the bare metal surfaces with your KBS Klean and Rust Blast will this affect the existing paint? If so, do you have any suggestions on how I would do this? May 16, 201610 yr comment_3702 Go ahead and prep the entire area (painted and bare metal) with KBS Klean. Then etch the bare metal areas with RustBlast and rinse with water. The RustBlast will not affect the painted surfaces. At this point, the surface is prepped and you are all set to proceed to the RustSeal step.
