May 12, 20169 yr comment_3698 I noticed you have a new product called the KBS Patch. I have a crack in my gas tank that I'm going to seal. Would you recommend this for the outside of the tank? What are the steps to applying this? May 16, 20169 yr comment_3701 Yes, it would be an excellent choice to patch up the hole from the outside with KBS Patch and then seal the inside of the tank using the 3-Step Tank Sealing System. KBS Patch Application: 1) Cut KBS Patch into any size you want without exposing to UV or Sunlight. 2) Remove white backing tape to expose the sticky resin. 3) Apply KBS Patch to repair area with sticky side down. 4) Press firmly to repair surface. 5) Remove transparent film backing on other side after application. 6) Curing times depend on UV intensity, approx 5 minutes (sunny) and 30 minutes (cloudy), or 10-20 minutes (KBS UV Light). 7) Place remaining KBS Patch back in the protective pouch. At this point, you can do the 3-Step Tank Sealing System on the inside of the tank. Please let us know if that helps and if you have any additional questions.
