April 8, 201610 yr comment_3654 I'm looking to paint some bare metal with a clear coat. I see that you have the Diamond Finish and Maxx which is a two part product. What would work best to adhere directly to bare metal? Do they both have adhesion promoters? Which one is more durable? Thank you! April 11, 201610 yr comment_3657 If you are clear coating aluminum, we recommend DiamondFinish Clear because the DiamondFinish Clear adheres really well to aluminum. If you are clear coating other metals, you can use either DiamondFinish Clear or KBS MAXX Clear because they both adhere really well to metals. Both the KBS MAXX Clear and the DiamondFinish Clear are incredibly durable and contain adhesion promoters in the coatings. Please review the KBS MAXX Clear Directions and the DiamondFinish Clear Directions and let us know if you have any additional questions.
