March 31, 201610 yr comment_3641 I have a hockey helmet that is painted with an enamel paint and has a lot of artistic work done on it. Can I spray diamond finish on this? How would I prep the surface if it would work? March 31, 201610 yr comment_3642 Yes, you can absolutely coat your hockey helmet with DiamondFinish Clear for added protection and durability. This is a very common application. Please make sure all of the paints on the helmet are fully cured. Wipe down the helmet with a mild solution of KBS Klean to remove any finger oils and dirt. You can then spray the DiamondFinish Clear on the helmet. For an application like this, 2 coats would be good. Please review the DiamondFinish Clear Directions and let us know if you have any additional questions.
