I'm looking to use the XTC on my smoker. I was wondering if I can just use the primer or do I have to topcoat it with the XTC paint? What is the benefit of using the primer and paint?

    After you have sandblasted the surface, you can apply a few coats or more of XTC Primer and leave that. You do not have to top coat the XTC Primer if you prefer the color of the XTC Primer.
