February 1, 201610 yr comment_3513 Is KBS DiamondFinish Clear resistant to the degrading effects of UV? Can KBS DiamondFinish Clear be applied to exterior brick in order to create a barrier to prevent water penetration? If KBS DiamondFinish Clear is considered suitable for application to brick, how long can the product be expected to last before it peels? February 1, 201610 yr comment_3514 DiamondFinish Clear is completely UV stable and will not yellow, crack, or peel. DiamondFinish Clear is often applied to brick and masonry. If you apply 3 thin, covering coats or more, you will have a completely non-porous coating that will absolutely prevent water penetration. The testing that we have shows it will last a minimum of 10 years and usually much longer before it needs to be touched up. Please check out the DiamondFinish Clear Directions and let us know if you have any additional questions.
