dkelly
Can I thin DiamondFinish Clear to spray it? Quote Link to comment https://success.kbs-coatings.com/topic/1950-spray-diamondfinish-clear/ Share on other sites
KBS Coatings
Yes, we recommend thinning DiamondFinish Clear if you are spraying with a conventional gun or an HVLP gun. For spraying, 10%-15% thinning is normally adequate. DiamondFinish Clear can be thinned up to 30%. Use KBS #1 Thinner ONLY. When spraying: Spray pressure of 35-45 psi(250-330 kpa) for siphon/pot guns and 25-35psi (170-250 kpa) for gravity/top container guns. As a general rule of thumb, we recommend a 1.4-1.5 nozzle. Please review the DiamondFinish Clear Directions and let us know if you have any additional questions. KBS Coatings
Get your airbrush as high as you can for great atomization of DiamondFinish Clear. Can you do 40psi on your airbrush? Ben71
Yes. I ran at 35psi and seemed to do decent. Thanks for the reply. KBS Coatings 1 Quote Link to comment https://success.kbs-coatings.com/topic/1950-spray-diamondfinish-clear/#findComment-9904 Share on other sites
