September 26, 201510 yr comment_3310 I want to coat the underside, hat channels, and insides of fenders to protect from rust caused mostly by winter road salt. It looks like cavity wax would be the easiest way, but I'm wondering if that is enough for a harsh environment. Is it worth the extra time and effort to use rustseal or one of your undercoating products? September 26, 201510 yr comment_3313 If the areas to be coated are inside a cavity, then the Cavity Coater is ideal because it will absolutely stop the rust and requires minimal prep. If the areas are outside and will be exposed to the elements hitting it directly, the KBS 3-Step System is ideal. Clean the area with KBS Klean, etch the area with RustBlast, and then seal up and coat the area with RustSeal. Please review the Cavity Coater Directions and the RustSeal Directions. Please let us know if that helps and if you have any additional questions. Thank you for choosing KBS Coatings!
