Filling Holes Nu-metal

Featured Replies

I did some wire wheeling to clean rust on the underside of my car and the rust was so bad it just made a hole in the metal. I would say the hole is about 1.5 inch by 3/4 inch by 1/2 inch deep. Can I just plug / fill the hole up with Nu-metal?

Also, would I apply Rust seal before or after Nu-metal?

Thanks

Yes. NuMetal can fill that hole.

You will want to prep the metal with AquaKlean and RustBlast. Apply 2 coats of RustSeal. Patch the hole with the NuMetal. Then apply another coat of RustSeal.
