January 9, 200818 yr comment_1455 i purchased your tank resealing package. in the directions it says that it needs to stay at a temp. of 55 or above. i am having a hard time finding a shop to do this in the winter thats heated. does it affect the product if i do it in 40 degree temp. range? lets say i do, and something goes wrong, can i try resealing it again or does it compromise the tank? i dont want to ruin my tank since i cant find a replacement. February 28, 201313 yr comment_2641 You will want to get as close as you can to 55 degrees. However, you can use it in temperatures under 55 degrees. Here are a few things to consider: 1) The KBS Klean and RustBlast will take longer to work. 2) The Tank Sealer will take much longer to cure. 3) Most people will take it in the house - maybe the basement with plenty of fresh air - once the Tank Sealer is applied and tacked so that it can cure. You can not reseal the tank, so just take your time. You would have to strip out the coating and do another complete application. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
