November 23, 2025Nov 23 comment_10120 With the other brand “P**15” in the past with “their” product I would normally spray Rustoleum black while the product was still tacky before fully cured and got really nice results also saved me time not having to sand the whole frame prior to applying the top coat. Is that not a good idea? I got your satin black rust seal and was going to top coat it with rustoleum. Also which product won’t affect your product when it comes to “oil” undercoating? Lanolin based products or should I use NHOU? Apply the black paint once the second or final coat of RustSeal is dry-to-the-touch and does not leave a fingerprint (usually 3-6 hours depending on temperature and humidity). You can use Cavity Coater, lanolin based oil, or Nhou once RustSeal is fully cured. Be sure to check out RustSeal Application Directions -> https://www.kbs-coatings.com/rustseal-directions Please let us know if that helps and if you have any additional questions.
