KBS Coatings
Surfaces that are permanently immersed in water require a high solids, non-porous clear coat. KBS MAXX Clear is formulated for and used often on surfaces that are exposed to water and even permanently immersed in water such as marine surfaces and swimming pools. Before you apply KBS MAXX Clear to a surface, be sure you have wire wheeled, sanded, or similar the surface to remove any loose flaky coatings or debris. Then clean the surface well with KBS Klean. Then apply KBS MAXX Clear. Always apply KBS MAXX Clear in thin coats, not heavy coats. For environments where water is constantly present or immersion environments, three coats of KBS MAXX Clear is the minimum to apply.
