deerewright
I have some refurbished brake calipers that appear to be painted and/or primed. Do I need to do any surface prep before motor coater other than roughing up the paint.
KBS Coatings
Yes, all you need to do is give that painted surface a slight scuff with 320 grit and then clean with KBS Klean before applying Motor Coater to the brake calipers. Have a look at the Motor Coater Directions before you begin your project and reach out if you have any additional questions.
