David Brinkley Posted November 29, 2022 Report Posted November 29, 2022 Hi, I'd like to paint the inside box of my fireplace with a high heat paint in a matt sand/beige color. Is it possible to have a custom paint color made. Or can I add tint to your white matt paint to customize the color myself. If so, what type of tint would I use. Thanks for the help. Quote
KBS Coatings Posted November 29, 2022 Report Posted November 29, 2022 Yes, we can make custom colors of XTC. The minimum is 10 gallons. Contact Us if you are interested in this. Yes, you can mix colors of XTC together to create a custom color. This is extremely common. If you can find tints that are good to 1500F, you could mix those in with XTC Pure White. Experience tells us that you typically have to be a paint formulator to be able to obtain tints that will work to 1500F. Please let us know if that answers your questions and if you have any additional questions. Quote
