Surfaces like that are easiest to restore/coat if you can spray. Do you have spray equipment, or would you rather brush and possibly utilize aerosol products that we offer?

We are looking forward to your reply and assisting you further.

Sounds good.

Here is the process.

1) Clean the surfaces with KBS Klean and a green scotch brite pad.

2) Etch any bare metal or rusty spots with RustBlast.

3) Prime/Seal the surfaces with RustSeal.

4) Topcoat with BlackTop which comes in Satin Black. BlackTop comes in a brush on or an aerosol. BlackTop is 100% UV stable and an excellent, durable exterior coating.

Please be sure to check out the RustSeal Directions and the BlackTop Directions.

Let us know if that helps and if you have any additional questions.

If new (not recycled) sand is being used and it is handled with gloved hands after sandblasting, you do not need to do the KBS Klean and RustBlast steps. You can proceed straight to the RustSeal step.

Please let us know if that helps and if you have any additional questions.

Yes, that typically happens when you apply RustBlast over sandblasted steel.

As long as it is some slight surface rust which has mixed with the zinc phosphate, which is white in color, then you are good to proceed to the RustSeal step. If it is more than a dusting, take a clean scotch brite pad dipped in water and rub the surface and dry immediately with a clean towel.

Please let us know if that helps and if you have any additional questions.
