June 17, 20223 yr comment_5502 Diamond clear suggests recoating within 24 hours. In the event the weather quickly changes to rain and high humidity after the first coat, what option is there for a second coat after 2 or 3 days of rain. I am coating fishing hardbaits. June 17, 20223 yr comment_5503 DiamondFinish Clear has excellent inner coat adhesion. From experience and as a general rule, if the surface is kept clean out of the elements. and you do the next coat within seven days, you should have excellent inner coat adhesion. After seven days, it is best practice to lightly scuff the surface. Subsequent coats of DiamondFinish Clear can also be thinned 10-20% with KBS #1 Thinner. Please let us know if that helps and if you have any additional questions.
