Hello, I have fiberglass bodywork that I am currently about to cover with blacktop, let it cure, then cover with diamond 1K. I am wondering what, if any, sanding recommendation there is for the blacktop. My instinct is to give it a 600 grit wet sand before applying the clear coat, but I have never worked with KBS products before. I am also wondering how many coats of blacktop and clearcoat are recommended, I was planning to do 2 coats of each by brush. Thank you.

600 grit to fully cured BlackTop is great to smooth out the surface and then apply DiamondFinish Clear. You can sand DiamondFinish Clear with 1000-2000 between coats as needed as well.

Please let us know if that helps and if you have any additional questions.
