May 12, 20214 yr comment_5316 hi, i was to excited to start the process of coating my new motorcycle fuel tank and i use the rust blast instead of the degreasser. i mixed it 1/1 with water and had it sitting for a day in the tank and now rust spots have appeared. DUMB me. oh well i just got to fix the issue now. what would be the simplest way to fix everything? May 12, 20214 yr comment_5317 Your best bet at this point is to be another quart of RustBlast and start the process over. You need to clean the tank before you etch the tank.
