November 7, 20205 yr comment_5251 I am planning to use your Diamond Coat over Fiberglass gelcoat and wanted to be certain I use a foam roller that doesnt disintegrate. What suggestion do you have ? November 7, 20205 yr comment_5252 All foam rollers will disintegrate over time. It is just the nature of the foam and the solvents in the DiamondFinish Clear. The key is to change it out as soon as it starts. Be sure to properly prep the gelcoat. Be sure to thin the DiamondFinish Clear 10-30% with KBS #1 Thinner or Xylene when rolling. Be sure not to overwork the roller. Roll out and move on. If you go back and forth a bunch of time, you force all of the solvents out and could end up with roller marks. Be sure to apply thin coats and never heavy coats. Please let us know if this helps and if you have any additional questions.
