September 16, 20205 yr comment_5205 HI, 1.,I wonder if I overworked the paint while brushing as it was going off pretty quick it was not sticky anymore after approx 2 hrs. Gave it 2nd coat, so it is what it is now, just wondering what are the consequences of overworking it? 2.,For next area I need to paint, I wonder how I can remove the toluene residue, as I needed to use thinners to remove some mastic and adhesive. Instructions says toluene residue is a no-no. Thanks! September 16, 20205 yr comment_5208 If you brush over an area over and over again with RustSeal forcing the solvents out, you run the risk of the brush marks not flowing out as well they are designed to flow out. That is all. Nothing other than cosmetic. Yes, you can use KBS Klean to remove toluene residue and we highly recommend that. Please let us know if that helps and if you have any other questions.
