July 27, 20205 yr comment_5163 I just re-lined a gas tank for a motorcycle with a KBS cycle tank sealer kit. Followed the instructions exactly. Let it sit three days after ceiling. Filled it with gas and seem to hold for a day but then started leaking through the seam again. Can I apply another coat of the sealer on top of the existing code to just make it thicker? July 28, 20205 yr comment_5164 Tank Sealer does not stick to itself but you do have an option to apply an additional coat of Tank Sealer. 1) Clean the inside of the tank well with KBS Klean (because you did not test with water). 2) Pour Fusion Self-Etch Primer in the tank. Roll the tank around so all side are coated lightly and drain out all of the excess. Fusion should be applied as a dust coat. Never thick. 3) Let cure overnight. 4) Do the Tank Sealer Step again. Please let us know if that helps and if you have any additional questions.
