November 26, 20196 yr comment_4832 I bought the RustSeal sample kit for use on a small area on a BMW motorcycle engine. The area is on a forward facing non-ferrous cast plate, probably aluminum alloy. I have been able to remove most of the paint from the area. In your directions you indicate that application times and dilution rates for KBS Klean should be kept to a minimum. Can you be more specific similar to the directions for KBS Klean use on non-ferrous metals? November 26, 20196 yr comment_4833 That is a great question. For non-ferrous metals (aluminum, copper, brass, etc.), clean the surface with KBS Klean at a dilution rate of 25 parts hot water to 1 part KBS Klean (4% strength) with the use of a very soft non-abrasive cleaning pad. Rinse the KBS Klean solution immediately making sure you do not let it sit on the surface and dry in a way that minimizes any water stains. Be sure to check out the complete KBS Klean Directions and let us know if that helps you and if you have any additional questions.
