I am wanting to use the 3 step system on my vehicle frame and bottom of floor pans. It has a lot of 40 year old undercoat that I have not been able to remove. Will rust seal adhere and encapsulate over the undercoating?

    Yes, RustSeal will stick extremely well to a non-glossy previous coating.

    Please pressure wash the surface really well and clean well with KBS Klean. Then etch any bare metal spots with RustBlast. Then apply RustSeal always in thin coats and always at least 2 coats.
