June 28, 20187 yr comment_4250 i just sandblasted the undercarriage of my 67 fastback. after blasting i used eastwoods "afterblast" product to keep the metal from rusting. can rust seal be applied on the metal after the afterblast from eastwood which i believe is just a phosphoric coating? June 28, 20187 yr comment_4253 We have never tested or used afterblast, but it seems like it should not be a problem as long as you take a green pad and slightly sand the surface to removed excess zinc phosphate. Please let us know if that helps and if you have any additional questions.
