January 23, 20188 yr comment_4179 Hi, I'm about to paint my freshly built steel trailer (mostly c channel - black steel). I'm going to follow the 3 step process no problem. Now I have 1l of POR15 gloss black that I'd like to use up first. Is it ok to use Rust Seal over P@&15 for the 2nd coat? January 23, 20188 yr comment_4182 Yes, you could use the stuff you have for the first coat (we understand trying to save money!) after you have prepped the surface with KBS Klean and RustBlast. You can then apply the RustSeal as your second coat within 3-6 hours of your first coat. Please be sure to check out the RustSeal Directions.
