My boat has a non removablele 40 gallon waste water tank. I do have access through an eight inch access hole at top of tank.

Given that I can’t remove the tank to rotate ir, is there a method to treat it.  It appears The leak is at seam near the bottom of tank.

would application with a paintbrush work?

Yes, you can do all 3 steps (KBS Klean, RustBlast and Tank Sealer) through an access hole in the tank. Sealing tanks in sail boats where the tank is built in to the boat and can not be removed is very common.

After you clean the tank with KBS Klean and then etch the tank well with RustBlast, you have to let the tank get completely bone dry and then brush on at least 2 thin covering coats of Tank Sealer allowing 12 hours between coats (this is longer than normal because of the minimal air flow on the inside of a tank).

Please check out the Tank Sealer Directions making sure you remember that you are painting the Tank Sealer on versus the method that is described in the directions.

Please let us know if this helps and if you have any additional questions.
