April 6, 20179 yr comment_4059 I have a car with 15+ gallon capacity split into two tanks (E21 BMW). Would you recommend using two of the large cycle tank kits or the auto kit and just use 1/2 in each tank? Would saran wrap or aluminum foil attached by rubber bands survive the cleaning portion of the process, or is something more effective needed? Does the cleaning process affect rubber? April 6, 20179 yr comment_4060 The most economical solution would be to purchase the Auto Fuel Tank Sealer Kit which has enough of all of the products to clean, etch and seal the 2 tanks. When you get to the Tank Sealer step, pour 1/2 of the quart can of Tank Sealer in to one tank and then pour the second 1/2 of the Tank Sealer quart can in to the other tank. Do not pour the Tank Sealer from one tank to the next. Aluminum foil, heavy saran wrap and rubber bands will withstand the KBS Klean and RustBlast steps. The cleaning process will not affect the rubber. Please check out the Tank Sealer Directions and let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you for contacting KBS Coatings.
