July 19, 20169 yr comment_3811 Im going to be painting my motorcycle frame with one of your kits. After the rust seal I will be applying bondo. My question is do I need to apply a primer on top of the bondo surface before the Blacktop or will the Blacktop be ok over the bondo surface without a primer? Suggestions on a primer? July 19, 20169 yr comment_3812 Once the bondo cures, scuff slightly the bondo with 300 grit and then you can apply BlackTop. There is no need to apply a primer if you simply scuff the bondo before you apply BlackTop. Please check out the BlackTop Directions and let us know if you have any additional questions.
