July 2, 20169 yr comment_3785 After applying the second coat of Rustseal, I have some blistering (as warned in the directions) due to thicker paint in some runs and tight spots that were not completely dry. I am not concerned with the appearance, only the integrity of the paint. Will the blistered areas provide the rust protection once dry or do I need to sand it off and re-paint? July 3, 20169 yr comment_3786 To be on the safe side, let the RustSeal cure, scuff with 300 grit, and apply another thin, covering coat of RustSeal. Please let us know if that helps and if you have any additional questions.
