March 17, 201610 yr comment_3612 Because most smokers are used outdoors, it is best to primer the metal with XTC Primer. The XTC Primer is what provides the rust protection. So, 1 or more coats of XTC Primer and then 1 coats or more of XTC. That would be our suggestion.
