February 13, 201610 yr comment_3536 Yes, you can clear over steel diamondplate with DiamondFinish Clear. This is a very common application. If the steel diamondplate just needs some cleaning (just dirty and not too crusty), you can clean the surface with KBS Klean, allow the surface to completely dry, and then apply a few coats of DiamondFinish Clear. If the steel diamondplate needs a lot of work, you can clean the surface with KBS Klean and a scuff pad, allow the surface to completely dry, and then apply a few coats of DiamondFinish Clear.
